Frequently asked questions

Q: Will I receive exactly the plant shown in the photograph?

A: No. As this is a wedding favour produced in series, the photo shows a representative specimen of the same variety. Every piece is the same species, Ficus retusa, and comes in the same 15 x 9 cm pot, but the line of the trunk and the shape of the canopy vary slightly from plant to plant.

Q: Is the pot included in the price?

A: Yes. The bonsai arrives already planted in the rectangular blue glazed ceramic pot measuring 15 x 9 cm, with soil and surface dressing. No immediate repotting is needed: the plant can stay in this container for its first few seasons without any problem.

Q: Is it suitable as a wedding favour for a wedding with many guests?

A: Yes, it is one of the most requested formats for ceremonies and corporate gifting. Being produced in series, you can order multiple pieces that are uniform in species, pot size and plant height, around 25-30 cm. For large quantities it is best to indicate the date of the event well in advance.
