Citrus Kinzu bonsai tree in white square pot

Presentation

Citrus Kinzu is a dwarf citrus that bears very small round fruits, like miniature mandarins, on a compact canopy of glossy dark green leaves. Here it is grown in a white square ceramic pot with rounded edges, with an overall plant height of 20-25 cm. It is a practical choice for anyone looking for a living wedding favour for weddings, christenings and communions, or a corporate gift.

How to care for it

Citrus plants need direct light for much of the day: from April to October keep it outdoors, and in winter move it indoors below 5-6 °C to a bright, cool spot. Keep the soil just slightly moist, watering frequently in summer and much less during the cold months, always avoiding standing water in the drip tray.

Frequently asked questions

Q: Is the plant I receive the one in the photograph?

A: No. As this is a wedding favour produced in series, the photo shows a representative specimen: the species, style, pot size (15 x 15 x h 7.5 cm) and the 20-25 cm height are the same, but each individual specimen varies in habit and in the number of fruits.

Q: Are the fruits already present on delivery?

A: It depends on the season. Fruiting is seasonal: during fruit set the plants arrive with green fruits or fruits already turning orange, while at other times of year they may show only flowers or just the foliage. The format and measurements remain unchanged in any case.

Q: How much does the parcel weigh and is the pot included?

A: Yes, the white square ceramic pot is included in the price. Plant, pot and substrate together weigh about 2 kg, plus packaging. It is a manageable weight even when ordering several pieces for an event.
