Zeolite is a volcanic rock belonging to the silicate family, which can be used in bonsai or agriculture in general, thanks to 2 main properties:

High water absorption capacity, thanks to which it is possible to reduce watering up to 30-40%
The dustiest part has excellent sterilizing power against fungi and pathogens in general (which is why sieving is not recommended)
improves the utilization and assimilation of fertilizers by plants

Mix it to the extent of about 10% in the potting soil you are using for your plant.
