A ready-made substrate for coniferous bonsai trees, expertly blended into a composition perfect for needle plants, such as pine, juniper, cedar, yew, etc.

Our composition is designed to ensure proper drainage thanks to materials such as akadama or kiryuzuna, which at the same time release an excellent supply of microelements that conifers consume in large quantities, meanwhile a small amount of potting soil ensures the ability to retain more moisture during warmer periods and zeolite to decrease the possibility of formation of rot root rot.

A draining substrate also ensures more oxygenation and thus more development of capillary roots, which are important in any bonsai tree.

- 40% kiryuzuna 2/5 mm.

- 20% akadama 2/5 mm.

- 20% universal potting soil

- 10% zeolite

- 10% volcanic lapilli 3/5 mm.
