Pack of 1 kg. of Chilean long-fiber sphagnum moss, excellent in bonsai both for creating mosses and for improving moisture maintenance to the plant.

Sphagnum has as its main characteristic high water retention, it absorbs up to 20 times its own dry weight, in fact

1 kg. of dry product is equivalent to about 20 kg. when moistened.

In dry and arid junctures, its open cell structure ensures a water reserve, while in wet or rainy frangents, it maintains a level of oxygenation, which is why it is widely used for bonsai.

It can also be used for organic farming according to European Regulation 834/2007.
