How to care for it

The black pine wants direct sun all day long and circulating air: kept in the shade it lengthens its needles and loses the compactness of the pads. Water only when the substrate begins to dry on the surface, at short intervals from June to August and much more spaced out in winter, when the plant still remains outdoors.
