The trunk rises with two broad curves and shows bark peeling away in reddish strips, while the canopy is built in wide pads that extend beyond the rim of the pot on the left-hand side. How to care for it

The Kishu juniper lives outdoors all year round, in full sun: in the shade the foliage lengthens and loses its compactness. Water generously as soon as the top centimetre of soil dries out, daily on hot summer days and much less often from November to February, always avoiding standing water in the pot.
