How to care for it

Place it in front of a bright window, avoiding direct sun through the glass during the hottest hours of summer, and keep the temperature above 14 °C in winter. Water when the surface of the substrate starts to dry out: indoors with the heating on this may mean every 2-3 days, far less often in the cold months. With this species we recommend misting the foliage when the air is dry.

Frequently asked questions

Will I receive exactly the plant in the photograph?

Yes, it is a one-of-a-kind specimen and the photo shows the very plant that will be shipped. As it is a living plant, the foliage may look different due to natural growth, pruning, pinching or seasonal changes, while trunk, nebari and overall styling remain those in the image.

How much space does it need indoors?

The plant is 51 cm tall and the oval pot measures 29 x 24.5 cm, with the canopy extending beyond the rim. Allow for a shelf at least 40 cm deep and some free space on the left for the low branch. Total weight is 6.5 kg.

Is the pot included in the price?

Yes. The specimen is shipped already planted in the green glazed stoneware oval pot of 29 x 24.5 x h. 10 cm shown in the photo, with a gravel topdressing over the substrate. There is no need to repot on arrival.
